ANTIQUE KIPPAH-WITH SILVER AND BRONZE METAL THREADS-HAT.

I must admit that I know nothing about this cap but I know quality and beautiful handwork when I see it!

If you are a person of the faith and want to educate me .. I’d love to learn more about it!

The base fabric is a rust brown cotton . The gorgeous embellished design is made entirely of metal threads. I’m guessing they are extremely fine brass. There are some silver at the trim on the hem.

The threads actually capture the light as you can probably see from photos.

The cap/hat measures 6” across the diameter and 18” circumference and is 4” deep .
