This listing is for a very interesting reproduction pinback election pin for Adlai Stevenson for President in 1960. What? Adlai Stevenson didn't run for President in 1960? That is true! But apparently during the primary election season there was a large amount of support for Stevenson to take a third swing at the presidency (including the support of the Russians who apparently tried to get him to run). According to the reading I have done Stevenson said he would not campaign, but if he received the nomination he would accept it. This pin is apparently a reproduction of the election pins that were handed out at that time to try to garner support for this candidate. 

Condition: This win is in good used condition, but it definitely has some scuffs and scrapes that it has accumulated over the years. Please note: This pin is CLEARLY marked "Reproduction"! Take a look at my photos and feel free to reach out with questions!
