This listing is for a vintage copy of The City in the Dawn by Hervey Allen, arranged as a continuous narrative from The Forest and the Fort, Bedford Village and Toward the Morning. This collaboration was published in 1950 by Rinehart & Company. This is a hardcover copy with dust jacket. This book is referred to as a saga of Colonial times in Pennsylvania, Ohio Country and New York State. 

Condition: This is a vintage used book in nice condition for its age. The dust cover shows some wear including significant tears. The pages have darkened and yellowed. The previous owner may have made some notes throughout the pages including a neatly written name on the inside front cover.
