This carved sawo wood expander is handcrafted from natural reddish Braun wood. The shape is a stretch snail, more precisely a hook shape, i.e. a bird expander for ears stretched to at least 4mm or 6mm. The lobe piercing shows a phoenix with long feathers and a narrow head with a beak, here the wooden expander is threaded through the stretched ear hole and then hung like an earring. The wooden stretcher is handmade and made of real wood, so there may be deviations in colour/grain, and the size can also vary slightly, because each phoenix piercing is a handmade one-off! We sell the 90mm long bird piercing hooks individually, as many customers wear them individually or two different ones. Please do not wear organic expanders, spirals and tapers made of wood when showering, bathing or in the sauna, but protect them well from water.
