Cosmos bipinnatus 'Purity White' is half-hardy annual from the Asteraceae family and will easily produce a lot of seeds and you will have more plants the second year once grow them successfully the first year in garden. Easy to be cared and easy to germinate from seeds.

 

The bloom is elegant with large pure white petals which are pure white lovely and brilliant, that attract bees, pollinators flying around in garden.

 

The plant has attractive fine feathery soft divided leaves and 6-7cm flowers with yellow centre and wide, white petals. Flowers lasting through until autumn. Ideal for garden beds, or patio containers.

 

This plant support pollinator populations by providing ample amounts of nectar and/ or pollen. A great choice for encouraging pollinating wildlife bees, honeyeater birds, useful insects, butterflies into your garden!

 

Adult plant will reach 90-150cm in height. Heat and draught tolerant once established. Adult plant positioned at full sun to partial shade.

 

Seed Sowing Information:

Sow seed in mid-spring or after frost and winter passed. Sow 6mm deep in well-drained seed raising soil. Plant 30-36cm apart.

Place in part shade part sun and keep the soil moist and warm. Protect from snails and slugs eating seeds and tender baby seedlings before germinated and after germinated. Transplant seedlings to sunnier area when they have 6-7 real leaves.
