Vintage GEORGE HENRY DURRIE (1820-1863) Print “New England Winter Scene” is Framed In A Deep Wood Frame.


Mr. Durrie was noted for his landscape paintings and especially noted for his rural winter snow scenes. His work was used by Currier & Ives for several pieces.


The print itself is enclosed in a golden surround drawing the eye to what is contained within. Subtle coloration of the lithograph enhances the picture of a snowy day in New England in the 1800’s.


The print itself is 6.5” Wide x 4.5” Tall. With the frame the Width is 10” and the Height is 9” Tall. The orientation is landscape and the shape is rectangular.
