GEORG JENSEN SIGVARD BERNADOTTE SIGNED 1930s-40s STERLING CUP GOBLET

Description

This listing is for one Georg Jensen sterling cups, designed by Sigvard Bernadotte.  Prince Sigvard (son of the King of Sweden) designed for Jensen from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s and the Jensen hallmark is consistent with that timeframe.  The cups are being sold separately; there are four available and I have shown them all in the pictures.  They are identical, except for the normal variance of handmade items.  Each has a stylized arch patterned foot.  They each bear the designer's signature, "Sigvard," and carry hallmarks for "Georg Jensen", "Sterling", "Denmark" and the pattern, "825A." These are vintage/ antiques and pre-owned, but have only light signs of use and are in excellent clean condition.  I have included photos of the hallmarks on each individual cup so you can be sure of authenticity.  This is a rare find.

I don't know what their original function was intended to be, but based on the size and capacity, it could have been for wine or liqueur, Kiddush, eau de vie, shots, espresso, etc.  Each cup measures 2.75" x 1 7/8" and has a capacity of approx. 80ml, or a little under 3oz, when filled to the brim.

They will ship securely packed and insured.  If you buy more than one, or buy another of my items along with it, I will combine shipping if possible.
I have listed several shipping choices; if there is another you would prefer, feel free to ask about it.
