Helicoid Lube+ is a high-quality synthetic optical lubricant available in six different thicknesses, ranging from ULTRA SOFT (NLGI 000) to EXTRA FIRM (NLGI 3), addressing the most typical lubricant applications on camera lenses and photography equipment. Vintage lens focus rings, tri-pod heads, and slide projector magazine loaders are often less smooth (or over-loosened) than they formerly were. This happens when the damper grease degrades and dries out over time. It is time to replenish the grease!

Please thoroughly clean the helicoid, removing all dirt and grease before re-lubricating. Excessive grease can create leaks; if it seems too loose (tight), use stiffer (softer) grease. Do not blend greases of differing thicknesses or kinds.
