Sodium Percarbonate is a no rinse steriliser which is a new addition to the Bigger Jugs range of products. It makes cleaning your equipment simplicity itself compared to sterilisers that need a good rinsing. This product is an oxygen bleach which is excellent for cleaning and sterilising all home brewing and household implements by killing bacteria and removing organic stains and matter from all materials.

Directions For Use when Cleaning and Sterilising Home Brewing Equipment

• Dissolve approximately 15g of powder per litre of warm or hot water* and soak the items to be sterilised for at least 10 minutes.
• For larger items such as fermenting containers and barrels put the mixture into the vessel, put the lid in place and swill the mixture around the vessel making sure that all internal surfaces are covered. Leave for at least 10 minutes.
• Use the mixture within 60 minutes as it will only remain active and effective for 1 hour after dilution.
• Normally there is no need to rinse the items unless the steriliser has dislodged dried on particles. In this instance rinsing the items to remove the detritus is advisable.

This item has many other household uses including as a laundry stain removal agent and as a general household cleaner for sterilising kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, refridgerators....  and is supplied in a heavy duty resealable pouch with tamper proof seal for ease of use.
