This BASIC kit is for Honda XR600 & XR650L only. It does not come with a Throttle and Cable. The kit with these can be purchased separately.

Going fast has never been so easy, say goodbye to hard starting, hesitations and flatspots.  These Mikuni carburetors are correctly sized and easily fitted to your Honda XR600 and XR650L air box and intake manifold flange using the  silver anodized engine inlet and outlet spigot adapters, both adapters are fitted prior to delivery when purchasing complete kits. This  kit is intended for fitment using your stock throttle cables which may require shortening of the inner wire on some models and does not come with our throttle cables and a 1/4 turn quick action throttle assembly. There are jets provided that must be changed as well as two spare mains for fine tuning at WOT. Climate, altitude and fuel density from different octane fuels all have varying effects on final fine tuning as does cam, exhaust and cylinder head porting etc. In this kit we have included what we have found to be the most commonly used combination of jets to allow you to tune for most variables. The TM40-6 comes with a 6″ cable choke for which a mounting bracket is included and a knob choke is also included.

You will instantly experience better throttle response, improved acceleration, increased horsepower and torque.  In a number of instances Dyno tests have shown improvements of up to and over 25%  when fitted to OEM carburetored engines.

This kit universally fits all XR’s and we have thousands of happy customers using it but there is a range of different carbs fitted to the XR series Honda’s where this carb has a 60mm OD inlet and a 47mm OD outlet, the XR650R (for which we sell a separate kit) has a 64mm inlet and 49mm outlet and there are some other variations in diameters and lengths out there, the NX is almost 20mm shorter than some others

Here at Mikuni OZ we do offer refunds and returns but there are strict procedures for this.

All carburetor kits that need to be returned for refund or exchange MUST be returned in the exact same way they left the warehouse. All Carburetors & Carby kits that have been opened WILL BE thoroughly stripped and inspected, in the case of any fuel being added, greases or lubricants, tampering or any form of damage to the carburetor there will be ABSOLUTELY NO refund and the kit will be returned to you at your expense! THIS IS FINAL AND NO OTHER EXCEPTIONS!

Absolutely all returns for any reason will be charged a 10% restocking fee whether it has been opened or not before it was returned and the freight for us to send you the kit originally will be deducted also before your refund is issued.
