On30 12 Ton Vertical Boiler Climax Locomotive Conversion Kit, by Railway Recollections.

Parts needed HO Proto 2000 SW8/900 and Kadee couplers #146 long shank standard head whisker couplers.

This is a fairly accurate model of a Class-A Climax. It was built to fit the Proto 200 SW8 chassis. The side frames were designed to fit the SW8 trucks.

This kit represents a Climax Class-A vertical boiler locomotive. Climax locomotives were made for logging, but some found other uses. They had a 2 speed gear box, in top gear they topped out at 15 MPH. There were designed to be a throw away locomotive, BUT they weren't. They lased long and gave good service.

This kit is made with high quality resin, and cast in high quality rubber molds. This reduces shrinkage. I have put a lot of work into
 this kit so parts fit properly, and are as easy to assemble as I could make them. If you want proof read my feedback.
