Included: 2x sensor probes: group head temperature (A) + actual water extraction temperature inside the portafilter (B)
Precise temperature control is crucial for best coffee taste and consistent results.
Sensors are fast and with high accuracy 0.1°C. Thermometer can be calibrated using the front buttons.
Sensor A measures the temperature of the group head of all La Pavoni lever machines and also very usefull for others machines like Elektra Microcasa a leva, Faemina Microcimbali Rancilio Silvia etc.... It's an extremely thin flat sensor attached to the metal surface with special high temperature resistant tapes (included).
Installation note: sensor comes with pre attached kapton tape on it for rapid installation. Then it must be covered with about 1x2 cm of aluminium tape.
Sensor B measures the actual water extraction temperature inside the portafilter during the espresso shot, just above the coffee and below the shower screen.
Included some centimeters of tapes as spare part for emergency reattachment of the sensor.
It was made at first for La Pavoni levers machines but it can be used also for all others machines, commercial 58 mm portafilters etc..
Note: be careful to position the 5 cm long flat sensor on the portafilter border in the correct side of the locking mechanism to avoid to damage it. See the photo for instruction.
