Up for sale is a Bukhari Jews Vintage Handsewn Square-type Kippah.

Previous owner of this Kippah said that it was made at least 50 years ago in Uzbekistan while it was still part of USSR. To my opinion it might be even older.

 

It is made from various fabrics; the shell has embroidered floral pattern with silver and gold tone threads (mainly silver) on a black velvet background, also it has a lining in red color. 

 

It is very difficult these days to find such authentic items that come from this magnificent Bukhara Jewish Community.

 

Measures (approx.):

Base: 13.5 x 13.5 cm / 5.31 x 5.31 inches

Top to bottom: 14 cm / 5.51 inches

 

Condition:

In used condition, pre-owned, minor wear, relatively well preserved, has some imperfections – after all it is hand sewn (please see photos).

We ship registered airmail worldwide from Israel but unfortunately there are a few countries that I am unable to ship to due to political reasons. To the people there I apologize.

 

Usually shipping takes 12-18 days

BUT

I have tried to get an accurate time of delivery and every worker and every branch of the post office gave me a different answer. The longest was delivery within 30 working days so please take this into account

 

 

IMPORTANT:

Any Item paid for on Friday or the day before a public holiday after 08.00 my time (GMT+2) will only be shipped on Sunday as All Post Offices are closed on Saturdays and most of Friday (or the day after a public holiday)
