This is an antique rustic brass and metal water bottle (Damigiana) made in the 19th century. This container is from India and is a great piece looks ancient but modern. It is hand made with brazed seams, flanged neck attached with handmade rivets, and a kicked up bottom. This piece has a mouth with a wide lip that holds a hand carved wooden stopper. There are some small rust spots and a larger ding on the side but otherwise has great patina and rustic appeal. It is 13 1/2" tall with the stopper, 9 1/2" wide at the widest part, and 8" narrow. It has a round metal chamber and a slim neck. Circa 1890-1919. Wonderful piece!
