You are looking at a custom designed, 3D printed, USPS letter mail thickness gauge.

I built this tool to have 2 purposes in 1 slot.

1) It measures the maximum allowable thickness, for any letter mail for USPS which is 1/4 inch.

2) This tool is also measures the maximum width of a letter as well. I made the slot the the maximum width that USPS allows which is 6 1/8 inches.

So this custom designed tool measures both the  maximum thickness and the maximum width, of your letter for USPS.

This is a great tool for not ending up with "that" letter that cost a small fortune because the post office prices drastically increase, once your letter mail goes over these sizes. Takes the guess work out of the equation!

I  also designed this to fit perfectly  on a thumbtack, so you can hang it up in your office if you want. It also has a ridge around the outside of it to reinforce the frame making it a quality tool.

The dimensions are:
The Outside:
Length - 7 1/16 inch Width 3/4 inch Thickness 1/32 inch thick
The slot
Lenght - 6 1/8 inch Width 1/4 inch Thickness 1/32 inch thick

If wanted I can print this on 100 % biodegradable, 100 % renewable corn based PLA plastic. *Warning though its not as strong and is not dishwasher safe but if you want that plastic choose the black blue or pink option.

I recommend choosing the default "white" ABS as its a stronger more durable plastic but its non renewable so, that's your choice as the price is the same!


3D printing Details:
  • All 3D items are 100% brand new, never used!
  • These designs have been printed and re printed multiple times to end up with a superior designed product. Some of these items have been remade
  • upwards of a dozen times. Our designs are engineered and designed, tested and redesigned, to be better.
  • Some prints that require exact dimension may be slightly off (max 1 mm) due to various factors.
  • 3D printed items are not perfect they may have small lines, color variances or blemishes but this will not affect the intended use of the object.

Customization:
  • We can also customize this item for your personal preference.
  • We can make this item smaller or larger by scale. If smaller by scale the price remains the same, but if larger the price will increase depending on size.
  • We can also increase the resolution to make a higher detailed print (as low as 20 microns, high quality prints half the width of a human hair) Any increase in resolution will also increase the price.
  • If you expect any alterations to the design, the price will go up according to the work required.
  • We can also print in different plastics or colors if you prefer(depending on stock).

Shipping Policy:

I ship Canada post at the lowest possible prices. I will ship your order within 48 hours of receiving a cleared payment, minus on weekends. Currently I have no tracking on my shipments because with Canada post it would cost too much to ship, so please take that into consideration, prior to bidding. Also please note: Canada Post does not deliver on weekends, so if something is marked "shipped" on Friday , Saturday or Sunday, that item will not actually begin to start moving to its destination until the following Monday. Also, If your order is marked "shipped" no alterations or cancellations can be made to the order.

International buyers (USA included!) delivery may take up to 4 weeks. I can not control the time a package takes, once its shipped it's no longer in my hands. I have found that Canadian Customs and Canada post can be very slow at times. Due to Canada's sluggish customs and mail : I can not refund any international order that was shipped less than 28 days ago, as it can take that long from Canada. Duty fees, customs fees or Import fees, are not included in shipping charge.

Anywhere else Minus North America - Delivery May take 6-8 weeks.

If you want faster delivery or tracked shipping, please contact me prior to buying. I can offer a faster delivery or tracked but shipping will cost a lot more, because Canada post is extremely expensive.

We also pack the majority of our items within a bubble mailer, so its arrives to you safe!
