Antique W L Gilbert Clock Co. Gingerbread Mantel Clock " The Boston " Nice!

Very good cosmetic condition! Measures 24" in height x 15" wide. Winds up very well, but does not stay running ( may need oiling or adjusting ). Gongs at the half hour & hour as intended. It appears that this clock stayed in the original family's possesion for most of it's life, so I'm sure it has been well cared for through the years. The back wood piece shows all the past owner's of the family beginning with a " William Bowyer " ( 1883 - 1953 ). It is missing the small latch that holds door closed (refer to last picture). Please look closely at all pictures to determine condition for yourself.
