LCD thermometer + 2x detachable sensors (group head + portafilter sensors) + 1x AAA battery power supply


1) Group head temperature sensor:
Flat thin sensor with thin wire. Preattached adhesive patch made of 3 layers: Kapton and aluminium high temperature tape plus a chrome film for seamless aesthetic.
It can be used on all La Pavoni lever espresso coffee machines (Europiccola, Professional).
Very useful also for others coffee machines: Elektra Microcasa, Faemina, Microcimbali, commercial E61 group, Rancilio Silvia, Caravel, La Peppina etc...

The flat sensor is ideal for fast temp measurement of metal surfaces.

Included some centimetres of tapes suitable for additional 4x applications.


2) Portafilter sensor: 
It measures the actual water extraction temperature inside the portafilter (see video demo) during the extraction of the espresso, between the coffee puck and below the shower screen.
It was made at first for La Pavoni levers but it can be used on all espresso coffee machines, taking care of different portafilters locking mechanism and using extra Kapton tape (included)
to protect the sensor's flat surface at the sealing point between the border of the coffee basket and the group head gasket. Replace the kapton from time to time when needed.

Power supply: 1x AAA battery (not included)
Accuracy 0.1°C. Refresh time 1 sec.
Sensor wire length: about 34 cm for right side grouphead mount (note: length can be customized for different machine's mount, write me a message) 
Max temperature reading: 110°C

It's very important to control the group head temperature for consistent coffee taste.
Without a thermometer, it's like to be blind about the actual extraction water temperature. Proper espresso extraction range is about 88°C to 96°C (190°F to 205°F).
The group head temperature is a reference point. The boiler is typically set at about 0.8 bars (117°C) and the group head should be below 90°C to cool down the water from boiler.

Delivery time for both methods is the same (note that eBay estimates are not correct and too optimistic).
On average it will take about 2-3 weeks for Europe/UK/Canada/US and may take a couple of weeks more for the rest of the World. Precise delivery time is unpredictable, it depends on the country of destination.

In case of delivery problems (address etc..), you may contact your nearest postal office for information about the
