DESCRIPTION:

• Three Piece "LAVABO" -- a bowl designed for washing.

• Designed for garden or patio wall mounting (holes in the rear of the ceramic to allow hanging the 'tank' (upper) and the 'bowl' (lower) on nails or screws in the wall.

• Typical modern use for a lavabo is as a wall pocket flower vase planter.

• Ceramic with gloss white glaze + Gold hand painted raised features + Victorian style transfer image of man & woman.

• Tank (upper) measures 11" tall . . . 10" wide . . . stands out about 5" from the wall.

• Tank lid is about 4½" wide.

• Bowl is about 13" wide . . . 6" tall . . . stands out about 6" from the wall.

▬ Combined Weight is just under 8 Pounds. Shipping weight will be just over 13 pounds.

CONDITION: EXCELLENT !

The ceramic is all strong, color and glaze good.

Interior shows some NO staining - NO soil.

There likely was a SPIGOT in the upper tank section, a device to control water flow (a shut off). It's possible a CORK was used for this function. Whatever the case, the control device is not present.

Searching EBay a brass 'pet cock' can be found for $8 - 15 which will serve this purpose if you intend to restore the 'water tank / catch basin' function.
