Transfer could be complete within a few hours, (during DVLA opening hours,) otherwise I can send the buyer the certificate, and it can be transferred at your leisure. To do this, send the Retention certificate, V5 Registration Document (some people call this the Log Book) to DVLA and they will do the transfer for you. Also, your vehicle needs to have tax and MoT.
