Since 1986, the Imula RP-8310 portable radio receiver has been produced by the Kandava Radio Plant. (Imula is the left tributary of the Abava River.) The radio receiver is a small-sized MW, LW superheterodyne, assembled on an integrated circuit K174XA10. Composition and electronics of the model, except for the body design, is similar to the receiver of the same plant "Selga-309". Reception is made on a magnetic antenna, but it is possible to connect an external antenna. Sensitivity at LW 2.5 mV/m, MW  1.3 mV/m. Adjacent channel selectivity at 9 kHz detuning is about 30 dB. The range of reproducible frequencies is 450...4000 Hz. Rated output power 150 mW. Power supply 3 elements 316. Dimensions of the receiver 74x150x36 mm, weight with power supply 340 g. The plant also produced an export receiver with the name ''Selga R-8310''
