A long sautoir with a butterfly and a brush.
Sautoir-transformer.... My new creation. Pictured is a sautoir made of Mallorca mother-of-pearl.
Material used:
Majorcan mother of pearl, beads ranging in size from 6 millimeters to 12 millimeters. The clasp is a carabiner. Beads color: white, pink, purple.
The length of the sautoir is 77 Centimeters\ 30"; The size of the butterfly is 6 centimeters \ 2.3" wide and 5 centimeters \1.9" high. Brush size: Brush height: 10 centimeters\ 4"; brush width: 1 Centimeter\0.4"

Why did I name this sautoir transformer?
If you look at the photo, you will see that the suspension is removed and you can only use the extended beads. The suspension itself is also disassembled... The sautoir can be worn with or without a brush.

Don't be afraid to try and use the original jewelry in any of your images. Fashion trends do not dictate strict rules for choosing accessories. Stylish, elegant sautoir will help you to correctly place accents and emphasize the figure and expressive features of the face.

A little history
Sautoir is a women's jewelry in the form of an elongated necklace with a hanging pendant. Decoration-sautoir, having come to us from France, where back in the 20s of the twentieth century, girls emphasized their thin long neck, elegant neckline or back with the help of elongated strings of beads or chains with stones.

Elegant women's necklace gets its name from the French expression "porter en sautoir" - to throw over your shoulder or hang on your back. Some types of jewelry have their own names. So, a sautoir made of pearls with tassels at the end is called a bayader.

As it turned out, jewelry of different lengths have their own names. And very melodic...
just get to know them:

1. Kollar its length is only 30-35 cm.
2. Necklace - 35-40 cm
3. Princess - 40-50 cm
4. Matina - 50-60 cm
5. Opera - 60-85 cm
6. Rope or lariat its length is more than 1 m.

I like most of all the length of the decoration called Opera)) and I often wear jewelry of this length...
and what do you wear?
