Thank you so much for viewing our listing.  We are pleased to be able to offer to you this one of a kind intriguing Fluorescent Sodalite, otherwise known as a "Yooperlite" rock.

This Specimen was hand picked near the shores of Lake Superior in Northern UP,  Michigan. These rocks are mainly found along the shores and in the waters of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.

NOTICE

This stone was illuminated using a Convoy C8 (available in our ebay store). This light is 365nm, which is the optimal wavelength for the best results when fluorescing these stones.  This light is filtered, using a ZWB2 lens, and nearly all of the unwanted purple and white light are removed.  This rock will fluoresce some using a typical 395nm light, but it will be purple and dull.  This rock does not glow without using one of these special ultraviolet lights.
