Description

Robert Downey Jr stars as the great Victorian detective in this action thriller directed by Guy Ritchie. Set in London in 1890, the film follows Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr) and his loyal assistant Dr John Watson (Jude Law) as they deal with a mysterious new nemesis: Lord Henry Blackwood (Mark Strong), an aristocratic cult leader and satanist who harbours deadly intentions to gain control of the country. The cast also includes Rachel McAdams, Kelly Reilly and Eddie Marsan.
