For sale is a 1913 first edition of  Fifteen Years of a Dancer's Life, by Loie Fuller, with an introduction by Anatole France. The book is a hardcover, 8.75" x 6", published by Small, Maynard, & Co., Boston.  The book has 288 pages, and includes 16 illustrations, all of which are intact and included.  The frontispiece is still protected by a piece of tissue. The gilding on the top of the pages is still visible, but worn.  The book is an autobiography/memoir from the famed dancer who had an amazing life from Burlesque, Vaudeville and circuses to the star of a Folies Bergere show and Art Noveau darling.

The book is in very good condition considering its age.  The pages are lightly tanned and there are some bumped corners and edge wear, especially at the top of the spine, see images.  There are no marks or writing in the book, except for a bookplate inside the front endpaper and an ex libris written next to a lightly penciled bookstore price, as seen in the images.  There is no whiff of bad storage, no bug damage, or any of the other ills that beset old books.  It's just a book that has been read and treasured these many years.
