A MAGNET STICKS TO THIS OLD WEST HAND FORGED WATER BAREL LADLE PROBABLY USED IN 1800s: in good CLEANED pre-owned condition, various scratches scuffs scrapes, visible wear, stains including cooking stains, spots including water spots.  No major dents and most surfaces feel smooth with a few minor dings. Pointed “Rat-Tail” is cast into iron body of handle between 2 of the hand-pounded rivets.  The ladle bowl holds about 12 ounces of liquid.
