Exceptional Mint Condition 

Here we have a Magnificent & impressive Silver Plated Jewelry / Cigar Box, Made by one of the worlds finest metal ware companies “ WMF” which is in mint condition ( Museum Quality ).

Without any silver loss, no dents, dints or damage whatsoever, this piece is astonishing as it looks as good as the day it came out of the WMF Factory approximately 114 years ago.

It has a Four vacant cartouches and no engraving whatsoever, inside the box is also mint and still has the quilted pad on the underside of the lid, its wooden lining is impeccable with no stains or splits looks like new.

Its fully stamped on the underside of the base with the Running Ostrich g in a partially dashed rhombus, 1/0 thickness of silver used and OX oxidised, plus various factory letters and numbers stamped within the box.

The box also has the stamp of its creator / designer Anezin Y Honos Cia, which also was the sole importer for WMF in Argentina. 

The quality and craftsmanship of this magnificent piece of WMF is pure elegance, style and quality. 

The box unfortunately doesn’t have a key, however the lock works perfectly, a replacement key can be made or a simple old one lever key found. 

( WMF locks are not individual a suitable generic key will fit )

Inside the box is as new, wood liner is perfect without stains or splits, still retains the quilted pad on the underside of the lid which is perfect,

The piano hinge is also perfect and the lid seals tightly as it should.

Stands perfectly true without any wobbles or unevenness.

Without doubt one of the finest WMF Boxes for sale today, a very rare chance to own such a perfect example.
