Bait attachment options include Bait Screw or Rig Ring (as selected). Shrink tubing kicker colours available include Silt (black), Weed (green) or Sweetcorn (yellow). Made with a stiff boom section for anti-tangle casting and efficient reset properties, terminated with either a loop or a Flexi Swivel for quick attachment. Crimped at both ends using 0.6mm x 5mm double barrel crimps for strength and neatness. Hand tied and quality checked before dispatch.

Ronnie / Spinner Rig
The Ronnie Rig (also known as the Spinner Rig) is a versatile pop-up presentation that’s proven across a wide range of venues. It’s designed so the hook can rotate freely, helping it flip and take hold quickly when a carp picks up the bait. With a stiff boom section, it also offers strong anti-tangle casting and good reset properties.

This rig can be used all year round and cast onto most lakebeds with excellent presentation. If you want to use it amongst weed, a helicopter-style setup is often recommended for better presentation.

  • Balance your bait: Pop-up buoyancy varies by brand/size, so test in the margin or a tub before casting.
  • Fine-tune buoyancy: If needed, add a small amount of rig putty around the crimp to balance the pop-up.
  • Presentation: For weedier areas, consider a helicopter-style setup to keep the rig working effectively.

Note: Rig putty is not provided.

Delivery details

We aim to dispatch within 24 hours (Mon–Sat). During busy periods please allow up to 2 working days.

All rigs are made fresh to order — not pre-packed months in advance.

We use Royal Mail services including 1st Class, Signed For and Special Delivery where selected, and we retain proof of postage.
