This listing is for a vintage booklet, The Lookies, a World Book Encyclopedia supplement #S-1172, published in 1949 by Field Enterprises. 

I have to admit, I have never heard of this publication until I came across this one! This is a very cool publication that encouraged kids to use their encyclopedias to look up information that might not know. The Club Pledge of the Look it Up Club is " We never Guess We Look It Up!". This booklet is organized by month with questions to answer and the appropriate reference to the World Book Encyclopedia entry. This is a great vintage reference book!

Condition: This is a vintage booklet in good condition with some signs of age and use. The cover has yellowing and staining from age along with light creasing. The pages have also yellowed and darkened with age. Please take a look at my photos and feel free to reach out with questions.
