Okay I have this seat it came with some mid 1970's dirtbikes one of the bikes had different motocross parts on it . The seat looks to have the original cover and if you view the pan area you can see the mounts are kind of in the middle of the seat where all the IT 200 IT 250 bikes from that era have the mounts in the rear like most seats. The 1975 YZ 250 had metal pan. The 1977 YZ seats were not as tall so this is believed to be a 1976 YZ 250 seat which is fairly rare but I could be wrong. The pan is good and solid no cracks. The foam looks and feels fairly good . The cover has some tears rips.
