Up for sale is a very rare and hard to find vintage 1977 Chilly Willie Joe Morgan MSA Baseball Card Disc.  Morgan is a beloved former Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame second baseman.

The condition is "acceptable", which is judged to be "very good" in this instance. Please read the description very carefully. Imperfections include some surface scratches, miscellaneous marks, and some discoloration/soiling due to age. There's a blue mark on the rear of the disc diagonally across from the first red star. There's also a red mark to left of the character's face on the back of the disc. Please see photos for more information.

This would make a nice addition to the collection of any Joe Morgan or Cincinnati Reds fan or vintage MSA oddball baseball disc or round card star or baseball memorabilia collector.

There were 70 cards in the 1977 Chilly Willee set.

The discs were 3 3/8 inches and were used to promote Chilly Willee drinks which are a frozen drink similar to a Slupee.

MSA stands for Michael Schechter & Associates.  He had a partnership with the Player’s Union and created several food issue cards in the 70’s and 80’s.  There were also some non-food issue releases such as Wiffle Ball.

Many of these discs all had very similar (or even identical) designs on the front of the card, and they only swapped out the back to identify the company featured in the promotion.  In this case it was the Chilly Willee brand.
