A stunning original Antique Arts & Crafts hand carved wall sconce with carved bird on a branch over leaves and fruit. English made from Oak with original shop label on the back.
The 4 digit telephone number on the label dates it between 1893 - 1905. It was probably carved during the late Victorian era Circa 1890.
Some research shows that the cabinet makers were commissioned to produce items for the Liverpool Presbyterian Church which was built between 1865 - 1867.
It is in very good Antique condition with no signs of damage. apart from wear to the edges of the shelf.
Probably a one off, unique piece of English history.
It measures 11.5 inches long. The shelf measures 9.5 inches wide x 6 3/4 inches deep.
