Notes:
Jan Hagara's wide-eyed children dressed in their antique clothes and holding old-fashioned toys, dolls, and teddy bears couldn't be more enchanting. Her "turn-of-the-century" kids are widley collected and adored in limited edition prints, collector's plates, porcelain dolls, and figurines. Jan's art technique originally developed out of her favorite pastime of collecting antiques and dolls.
Her popular art was first introduced to needlecraft enthusiasts in the form of stitchery kits during 1984 by Needle Treasures, a brand of Johnson Creative Arts. Her family of children's portraits quickly became one of the needlecraft world's first truly collectible series of designs.  From the first day of Hagara's images were available in stitchery, cross-stitchers began asking for them in their favorite technique. So here they are. Collect them all. They're irresistible.
