Pheasant Vintage Bird Porcelain Made in Japan with Grassy Base  Marked A-244. This pheasant bird was make in Japan and has the number stamped on the bottom A-244. Maker unknown. It has no chips, no cracks and no crazing. The hand painting is beautiful as is the glaze. There is a tiny pencil point white spot on the beck which has no paint but is glazed over. The grassy base is in very good pre-owned/vintage condition as is the bird itself. 5" Tall x 6" Beak to Tail x 2 3/3" Wide at base. See all photos.
