Seller's Lot consists of a SCARCE complete sheet of 100 stamps of the short-lived 36-cent QEII FIRST-CLASS DEFINITIVES 1985-1987 Series dating to 1 Oct 1987. PLEASE NOTE that this Canada 926A, the 36-cent plum-coloured Queen definitive, was only for sale for a very short period of time and evinced very limited sales and usage. More specifically, the 36-cent stamp was issued late in the year and never really used due to the issuance of that year's Christmas issues, and the subsequent RATE CHANGE right after 1 January 1988. These stamps were quickly withdrawn. Only Blank Corners as issued exist for this particular stamp. CV for the sheet is $400.00.
