Codenames is a social word game with a simple premise and challenging game play. Two rival spymasters know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates know the agents only by their codenames. The teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first. Spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the table. Their teammates try to guess words of their colour while avoiding those that belong to the opposing team. And everyone wants to avoid the assassin. The game works very well with four players if you prefer to guess without help. Or you can add more players if you prefer lively discussion. There is also a co-operative variant where a single team tries to achieve the highest score they can by playing against the game itself.

Codenames can now be played with pictures! Whimsical, mind-twisting illustrations are used instead of word cards. Can you find one word that ties your team‘s pictures together? Can be played with or instead of the original Codenames. The rules of the game are the same: Two rival spymasters give one-word clues that can point to multiple pictures on the table. • Reveal all fifteen agents - without revealing either of the assassins or too many innocent bystanders - before the time runs out in order to win the game
• If your team player identifies an Assassin, you both lose!
Codenames Duet keeps the basic elements of code names — give one-word clues to try to get someone to identify your agents among those on the table — but now you're working together as a team to find all of your agents. Collectively, you need to reveal all fifteen agents — without revealing either Assassin or too many innocent bystander — before time runs out in order to win the game. Either player can decide to give a one-word clue to the other player, along with a number. Whoever receives the clue places a finger on a card to identify that agent. If correct, they can attempt to identify another one. If they identify a bystander, then their guessing time ends. If they identify an Assassin, you both lose! unlike regular code names, they can keep guessing as long as they keep identifying an agent each time; this is useful for going back to previous clues and finding ones they missed earlier.

Problems with Postage?

To arrange a return please contact us via eBay and we will provide you with returns information. All you need to tell us is which item you wish to return and the reason for the return.
