Presenting an exceptional vintage Mid Century Italian Murano art glass bowl.
This piece is striking.
The bowl features a modernist biomorphic form with its sleek streamlined design. Three arms extend out from its centre with each being lightly segmented into two creating ripples and appealing visual optics to its tri form body.
The bowl is curvacious and organic in appearence and holds a real fluidity which is present from whichever way it is viewed.
The colouring is amazing with its almost electric green colouring magnificently highlighted by the opalescent glass inclusion. Placed against a dark background with natural light this piece comes to life. The end result is truly effective. This bowl was obviously made by a master glass artist and the colouring and style make the Seguso name come to mind.
This bowl also features a beautifully ground and polished base.
This piece measures 28.5cm across at its widest point from the tip of one arm to the other and stands 4.5cm tall.
Presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are light surface markings consistent with age and light use which is mentioned only for total accuracy.
The polished base has usual age related wear which is mentioned for accuracy and aids in authentication of its age.
It presents spectacularly!!!
