For your consideration, please see this stunning bowl by Daum of Nancy, France.  Signed on the side of the base "Daum France".  This incredible freeform, modernist-style base is really lovely, clear and sparkles in the light.  It is substantial in weight, on its own weighing almost 3.5 pounds on its own.  Measurements 4.25" tall, 7.25" Length and 6.5" wide.  Daum was founded in Nancy, France in 1878 and has been producing fine crystal and art glass (crystal) ever since.  There is some very minor scratching on the base from movement and use over the past 40-50 years, but nothing that takes away from the beauty of the piece.
