Production of the Tatra Type 97 was terminated in 1939, possibly to avoid comparison with the KdF-Wagen designed by Ferdinand Porsche. Production of the Type 97 was 508 cars in total. In 1946 Tatra resumed car production, and replaced the Type 97 with the larger and more modern Tatra 600 Tatraplan
This model is one of our best-made models. It is exclusively handmade and only resin has been used for the construction. Our models describe the war period very well and can create a very beautiful collection that can give people a beautiful history lesson.

The products are professionally packaged, since the hand-made model is fragile, some of the model components may get slightly loose or, rarely, fallen apart during transportation. We will pack this to the best of our ability but the buyer may have to re-attach any small parts shaken loose in the post
