ANTIQUE SUITCASE SHAPED SMALL COIN BANK BOX ADVERTISING BESSE-SPRAGUE COMPANY RIGHT GOODS FAIR PRICES OF SYRACUSE, NEW YORK WITH COPPER STREAKS RUNNING THROUGHOUT



This is for an antique bank box that is made of steel with copper colored streaks running throughout it. This suitcase shaped bank-issued box has a handle on the top. That handle is marked by the manufacturer, the A.W. Williams & Co. out of Van Nest, NY. The bank has a metal tag on the front that reads, "Besse-Sprague Co. Syracuse, N.Y. Right Goods Fair Prices". Bank also has the number "10213" imprinted in the front. Top of the bank has a place for coins and side has a hole to put paper currency inside. Bank measures about 3 and 1/8" tall by 4 and 1/8" wide by 2" thick. There is no key available to open the lock though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in good condition overall for it's age with some natural wear present and some scrapes near the bottom on the front. Please see pictures for design and condition detail.
