This is a Rare & Original 19th Century Antique Civil War Lithograph that was Published by Charles Magnus (1826-1900) who was a Well Listed Artist & Printmaker listed in Many Art Indices throughout the World. The Drawing & Lithograph was done by Feodor Fuchs (19th Century) & Magnus published the Lithograph. This piece Comes in a Gilded Carved Frame Under Glass of Museum Size & Quality that measures almost 3 Feet Wide & 2 Feet High depicting a Figurative Battle Scene Illustration Tilted "Major General Franz Sigel United States Army, Colonel on The Battlefield of Carthage July 5th 1861" and was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. This Print is Dated Circa 1862 which is roughly 1 year after the Battle. His work has been Exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. & The New York Historical Society. This piece is in the permanent records at the Library of Congress and is a Very Rare Print. Its written at the bottom of the Print as follows: "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1862 by Feodor Fuchs in the clerks office of the District Court of the United States of the Southern District of New York".  This came from a Private Collection which makes it Very Rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall in Great Condition and All shown in the photos.
