This detailed and fascinating book ties many of the conspiracies of the 1960s together in a way that frames a lot of it as the conflict between the Eastern liberal elites, the Yankees, and the Western conservative Cowboys. It ties the 2 seemingly unrelated events of JFK's assassination and Nixon's downfall together, in this context. Lots of important and influential people from the era have a role in Oglesby’s book – Howard Hughes, many once prominent Congressman and Senators, Jack Ruby, J. Edgar Hoover, Howard Hunt, Meyer Lansky, LBJ, etc. The book is thoroughly researched and pretty easy to read. You’re bound to learn something.

Book is unread, but shows some signs of age. There’s a ding on the front cover next to Kennedy’s face, the back cover has a former dog ear on the bottom left, and the paper’s not quite as white as it used to be, but it’s still in pretty great unread condition. Appears to be a 2^nd printing.
