Dailuaine uses water from the Bailliemullich Burn and also uses water from the Carron Burn, both of which come from Ben Rinnes. Most of the whisky produced here is used in Johnnie Walker blends although they do have a selection of single malts including some Rare Malt series Whisky. Douglas Laing Co have managed to get hold of one of there casks and create a non chill filtered 8 year old from one single cask.
Nose: Fresh malted barley, sweet caramel, warm butter popcorn and crunchy biscuits.
Taste: Dark hot chocolate orange, crystallised apricots and more (Kiln dried) malted barley.
Finish: Very fruity with green apples and pears, moving to orange and lemon peel.
