The Rossmax AM40 cell type air mattress has been specially designed to work as an anti-decubitus mattress suited to provide long-term patients with optimal care and comfort, intended to help reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers for patients at medium to high risk.

Made of a comfortable, strong nylon material with adjustable hangers, this mattress suits the majority of bed types. The high-quality pump provided ensures a near-silent noise, meaning the patient has minimal disturbance interfering with their rest, giving them the ability to sleep peacefully.

The most significant feature of the AM40 mattress is its advanced technological design. There is a weight indicating pressure setting which can be adjusted to suit the patients' weight and therefore be custom to their needs. Along with this, it has a 2 to 1 alternating therapy system which works by alternating the inflation of 1/2 the cells and deflation of the remaining 1/2 in 12-minute intervals. This helps to relieve the pressure in alternating areas and therefore helps reduce the occurrence of pressure ulcers for the patient.
