Describing the author's experiences fishing in three parts: for pollack, salmon and trout in Ireland, for salmon in Scotland during spring, and fishing in the Home Counties.
Written by Philip Geen, the President of the London Angler's Association, an important advocate for the conversation of fisheries and for helping to bring about the angler's privilege ticket for rail travel, allowing city dwellers to economically travel to cleaner and less polluted water. He also created his own fishing tackle.

CONDITION
In the original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Ownership bookplate to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
