G960 Telescopic Underfloor Vent
The G960 Telescopic Underfloor Void Ventilator is designed to provide a clear airflow passage to the void underneath a suspended floor. The telescopic feature enables the ventilator to adjust vertically between three and five brick courses. The right airflow can be achieved when the ventilator is used with a Manthorpe G930 Airbrick. The aperture can also accept a standard clay airbrick, although the airflow is reduced.

    • Fitting Instructions

    The G960 Telescopic Under Floor Void Ventilator should be installed during the normal course of bricklaying. If fitted above the D.P.C a suitable cavity tray should be fitted above the G960. The G960 Telescopic Under Floor Void Ventilator should be fitted in at least two opposing walls to create a through flow. As N.H.B.C recommendations state “Ventilators should be placed at not more than two meter centres and within 450mm of each end of the wall”. Bricklaying should then be completed as normal although care should be taken to keep the air flow passage clear from mortar droppings. This product should be used in conjunction with other products from the Manthorpe range to provide a complete through wall ventilation system.


    G961 Extension Sleeve
    The G961 Vertical Extension Sleeve has been designed for use with the Manthorpe range of Telescopic Underfloor Ventilators. Each extension sleeve allows the vent to reach a further two brick courses vertically. The sleeve can also be fitted to the base of the underfloor vents to provide a longer horizontal extension through larger cavities.

    • Fitting Instructions

    The G961 Vertical Extension Sleeve can be used to extend the G960 Telescopic Under Floor Void Ventilator vertically and horizontally as shown. Simply clip the required number of extensions together and push onto the under floor ventilator.
    Each unit extends the under floor ventilator a further 150mm vertically or 185mm horizontally.
    The G961 Vertical Extension Sleeve should be used in conjunction with other products from the Manthorpe range to provide a complete through wall ventilation system.


    G935 Pair of Cavity Sleeves
    The G935 Combination Cavity Sleeve fits into the back of Manthorpe’s G930 Airbrick to ventilate through a standard cavity or solid brick wall. The unit can be stacked to create a 9" x 6" and 9" x 9" alternative, and telescopes to fit cavity widths of 50mm to 100mm, with further extension possible through the addition of extra product units. The G935 also includes an integral wind baffle to help reduce drafts through the product whilst maintaining an effective airflow.

    • Fitting Instructions

    The G935 Combination Cavity Sleeve should be fitted to the back of a G930 Combination Airbrick 9’’ x 3’’ and adjusted to fit the desired cavity width. It can be used in any combination required and built into the brick course as normal although care should be taken to keep the airflow passage clear from mortar droppings.

    This product should be used in conjunction with other products from the Manthorpe range to provide a complete through wall ventilation system.


    G962 Remote Void Vent
    The G962 Remote Void Ventilator is designed to connect an air brick or telescopic underfloor vent to a 4” Round Pipe or alternatively Manthorpe’s GRPA/1 Flexible Pipe. The adapter fits directly onto the bottom of the G960 or G965 Under floor Vent and can be easily cut down between the pre moulded cut lines to fit the G930 Airbrick.

    • Fitting Instructions

    Fitment of the G962 Remote Void Ventilator to the G930 Combination Airbrick ( A ) is achieved by simply cutting the front section off between the pre-moulded cut lines and pushing on to the back of the brick. The G962 should be pushed onto the back of the G960 Under floor Ventilator in fitment detail ( B ) allowing a 4” soil pipe / drainage pipe to be fitted to the adapter or alternatively Manthorpe’s GRPA\1 flexible pipe to direct the airflow to the required area.
    Bricklaying should continue as normal although care should be taken to keep the airflow passage clear of mortar droppings. If the G962 Remote Void Ventilator is to be built in above D.P.C a suitable cavity tray such as Manthorpe’s GW290 should be fitted over the ventilator. This product should be used in conjunction with other products from the Manthorpe range to provide a complete through wall and under floor ventilation system.


    G930 Airbrick
    The Manthorpe G930 Airbrick has been designed to provide high levels of ventilation into cavity walls and underfloor voids. The 9" x 3" brick is stackable and can be joined together to create larger vent openings. The airbrick features a front mounted grill which consists of evenly spaced openings specifically sized to prohibit large insects gaining access but wide enough not to be blocked by debris, paint or water droplets. A mortar key around the edge of the airbrick ensures it can be securely fixed to the surrounding masonry.
