ANTIQUE LIBERTY BELL SHAPED SMALL COIN BANK ADVERTISING THE LIBERTY TRUST COMPANY OF ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA
This is for an antique coin bank that is made of steel with a wooden top portion This Liberty Bell shaped bank has a tag on the front that reads, "Ring it Again with Your Savings Liberty Trust Co. of Allentown, PA.". Bottom of the bank is marked by the manufacturer, The Bankers Savings & Credit System Co. out of Cleveland, Ohio and shows the patent date of February 18, 1919. The bottom of the bank also has the number "21599" imprinted in it. Bottom also has a place to put coins in it. There is no key available to open it though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in good condition overall for it's age with just natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures about 4" tall by 3 and 3/4" in diameter at the base. Wonderful old steel bank from Pennsylvania shaped like the famous Liberty Bell would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
