Installation Note:

Please check your original ID code to ensure proper replacement. Also not that 1987-1989 featured a two part printed circuit board style. This unit is the larger primary unit featured on the back of the instrument cluster. If you are looking for the smaller secondary unit MESSAGE US for this version. Note that the secondary unit is the small printed circuit that goes to the warning lights and not the main cluster. It is recommended that you should replace the primary and secondary unit at the same time, IF BOTH ARE NEEDED. 

Restoration Note:

Ford listing show two Ford part numbers E7ZZ-10K843-A & E8ZZ-10K843-B. The E7ZZ was replaced by the E8ZZ unit. They both featured different ID codes located on the part. Please note that the part number and the ID code are different. The ID code will be the number listed on the part itself. The part number was Fords internal sales number.
