1940s Block Pottery CA Eyes Open Puppy Dog Figurine Planter Cotton Ball Dispenser

For consideration is this vintage 1940s dog planter figurine. It could also be used as a cotton ball dispenser. This is the “eyes open” version, as there is another version of this figurine with its “eyes closed”. This is nicely decorated with blue and pink flowers on each side, blue eyes with long eyelashes and toe marks! The inside of the ears are pink and it has a pink little “o” mouth. It measures 4½ inches tall, 3 inches wide and 4¼ inches deep. The base is marked “Block of California “. This is in excellent vintage condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or discoloration noted. You can see crazing with a magnifying glass. Thank you for looking!
