FJ Designs The Cat's Meow Village - 1996 Fairy Tale Series, Grandmother's House (#2962); condition is "new".  The Cat's Meow Club mascot, Casper, is sitting in one window, but look closely to see who can be seen in the other window!

According to Cat's Meow Collector's Club catalog about this series in general:  "Some of my [Faline's] best times are spent reading to Grace [her daughter].  The fairy tales I remember take on a new meaning to me when I tell them to her.  These are some of our favorites."

About this piece in particular, the Club catalog continues:  "Little Red Riding Hood is so special to me that I created Grandmother's House and a Red Riding Hood accessory.  You can see grandmother through the window, but the door knocker tells the real story."

Excellent condition, in original Cat's Meow wax paper bag, never displayed.  Smoke-free home and in storage for the last 20+ years.  Series introduced June 1, 1996, retired December 31, 2001; this piece has copyright 1996 and "signed" Faline '97.

Eagle-eyed collectors will notice the possessive apostrophe has migrated to "THE CAT'S MEOW"; early pieces were listed as "THE CATS' MEOW".
