ANTIQUE THE SECURITY TITLE & TRUST COMPANY YORK, PENNSYLVANIA ADVERTISING ALL BRASS SAVINGS COIN BANK



This is an antique heavy nickel-plated all-brass constructed suitcase shaped savings bank from the late 1800's. This bank advertises on a tag on the front for "The Security, Title & Trust Co. York, PA.". The top is imprinted with the number, "S 9951" and it also has patent dates from the years 1891 and 1892 imprinted there. Bank has a handle on the top and 2 numbered slots also for coins. Bank has a hinged lid front that is locked. We don't have the key for opening it though. The banks used to hold these. Bank is in good condition overall for its age with some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 3 and 1/4" tall by just under 4.5" wide by 2 and 1/4" thick. Weighs almost 2 lbs.  Wonderful old heavy brass savings bank from Pennsylvania would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
